The process
  • Step 1
  • Step 2
  • Step 3
  • Step 4
  • Step 5
  • Step 6
1

Write your brief clearly and concisely. Why do you need a new site? what functions do you require it have? do you need a CMS to manage it? do you have a domain name? is it appropriate? what sort of imagery do you want?

2

Once the site is live have you considered how visitors are going to find it? Through the search engines? Or maybe you want to manage a PPC campaign? either way don’t forget to include some form of search engine maintenance into your budget.

3

Think about what content you want to portray on the site. How should the site be structured? maybe five pages is enough? maybe the competition have more? In which case you will have to write even more than they do and more regularly to remain competitive.

4

You get in contact with webworxdesign, you give me your brief and I offer advise for potential solutions. I send a visual and a quote for your approval and then hopefully we agree on the project to commence. Upon confirmation the client pays 50% of the project quote.

5

I design, build and construct the website, graphics, social networks and everything as per the reccommendations. We review the design, possibly make small revisions but ultimately this is a staging ground to ensure that the project is going in the right direction.

6

The site or literature is now ready to go live/go to print. Upon this stage the client pays the remaining 50%. The project completes and we rejoice in the fresh, new and innovative design now ready to draw in the crowds!!! Everyone’s happy!!!
